I've been using this thing daily for a few months now and it still looks brand new. The long handle is perfect for reaching the bottom of my freeze-dried meal pouches, and there's zero metallic taste.

The polished bowl really does make it easy to clean out every last bit of freeze-dried stew, and the long handle keeps my fingers far from the stove flame. Only gripe is the tines are a bit shallow for twirling noodles, but for most camp meals it is a solid one-piece tool.

The handle is long enough to reach the bottom of deep freeze-dried meal pouches without burning my fingers, and the polished bowl cleans up in a snap. Solid construction overall, though I wish the fork tines were a touch sharper for spearing softer veggies.
