Skala 38 Ultralight Backpack

Took this on a 3-day trip and barely noticed the weight on my shoulders. The frameless design packs down small enough to stuff in a stuff sack, which I didn't expect. Clipping the roll-top shut takes two seconds and it stays put.

Took this out for a weekend trip and the roll-top closure is pure genius—I could crank it down tight when it was full or just clip the ends for quick access to my rain jacket. The whole thing weighs next to nothing on my shoulders, yet it shrugged off branches and scrapes without a mark.

I was skeptical about a frameless pack, but the lack of a frame makes it feel featherlight on my shoulders while still handling a full load. The roll-top with those clip ends is so easy to cinch down or pop open mid-hike. It’s become my go-to for day trips.
